Spam !!!

Hi,
I'm just a new user to the tankaar and after trying it for few times I got the complaints from my friends, colleagues regarding the spam which is being done without even the slightest knowledge of the user.
In antenatal stage of the tankaar it was very well promised that there will be "NO spam, no tweets" ... I read in the forum somewhere.
Now everybody coming and pinging me what is that you're just sending 'n' number of times.
I've also observed that the tankaar invitation message goes to the recipients as much as number of times I log in to the tankaar.
I don't want to disappoint you but ... this is just going out of bounds.
Hope tankaar team stands for its words.

No intention of spamming

We have no intention of spamming. Yes you are right that when you first login to the Tankaar, a mail is sent to all your friends and this is a part of initial promotion strategy. But this is done only once, if you use same downloaded application and same account. If you login again from another account/downloaded application, mail will be sent again. Because a local file file stores your email id and does not send mail on next login. It can only happen if you login from another application which does not have a local record of your login. I hope you are getting my point.
So its just one mail to each of your friends, unless you want to send mail again using invite friends options.
If application sent multiple mails even when you used logged in using same application & account, please report on admin. We never intended to make it that way. And we will do everything to make sure this does not happen again. We have taken permission to use your friend ids only for sending invitation in our privacy policy : http://www.tankaar.com/privacypolicy

But it happened !!!
I was trying my hands on the game on linux box and I logged in 4-5 times and I saw the same number of emails in my related email accounts.
Even I was wondering why to send a number of times the same invitation but after seeing that my mailbox is being flooded with my friends' invitation for tankaar. I reported to team.
As you explained it'll happen only once, it didn't :-(.
Moreover, my friends/colleagues were pissed when they saw the same invitation from the same user 4-5 times as I was when I saw my inbox.

Auto invitation aka spam removed
Owing to complaints from our fans, we have removed the auto invitation mails. See changes in Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Now no mails will be sent from the application unless user deliberately wants to invite friends.
