Chandra Kiran Khand
Maximum Points : 75
Origin of Name : Chandra means moon, Kiran means ray of light and Khand means part/piece.
Property of Astra : Chandra Kiran Khand causes the moon to emit rays of light in four directions and then these rays attack opponent when astra cuts through them.
Motion : Projectile
Collides with : land, self, opponent, waterfall
Movements : Backward
Details : The name of the astra Chandra Kiran Khand comprises three Sanskrit words, which mean moon, ray of light and part recepectively. It is so named because the attack is triggered when astra cuts through the rays of light originating from the moon. When the astra is fired it cause the rays of light to emitted from the moon center. These orange rays derive their energy form the white light of moon. When astra comes in motion it follows a projectile path. When this astra cuts through light rays these rays get bent at the point where astra strikes. When a ray gets bent it strikes the opponent. So the whole strategy is to cut maximum number of rays. Obviously its impossible to cut all four rays owing to projectile trajectory of the astra. But one can cut a maximum of three rays. It looks as if rays are getting cut but actually the get reflected from the point where the astra strikes. Astra has power to reflect the rays from the position where it strikes to the position where opponent is standing. But one has to understand that this reflecting property does not function when astra touches the rays too close to the moon. The very bright light of moon cause failure of this reflecting property . Hence the whole point is cutting as many rays as possible from as far away point as possible. With every ray strike opponent moves backward.
